An evening with Paolo from Seeds of Italy at Godstone Friday, 25th July

Paolo started to import the Franchi seed brand into their family run Italian deli in Hendon in 1999 and has never looked back. Franchi are the oldest family run seed brand on the planet, 1783 and still the same family for 7 generations.

They specialise in endangered, heritage, ethical and regional varieties with provenance and lost flavours and Paolo wants to share his knowledge of Italy from seed to plate and take us on a journey around Italy in vegetables, with a focus on what to sow in the summer for an autumn and winter harvest.

Paolo is a multiple RHS medal winner, Slow Food UK person of the year 2019 and passionate about biodiversity and local food
