Coffee Shop Kitchen Assistant/Cook
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a group of highly motivated individuals in a newly established coffee shop, that we are looking to grow. We are looking for an experienced cook who has a passion for delicious food using fresh seasonal produce.
This role will involve assisting the Chef in managing kitchen operations, preparing food orders and ensuring all dishes are of the highest standard, maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations, ensuring equipment is maintained and in good working condition, monitoring inventory levels and supplies. If you are a passionate cook with a strong culinary background, and a dedication to delivering high-quality food, we would love to hear from you. We offer a balanced working schedule that allows for family and social time; our coffee shop opening hours are Mon-Sat 9am-4.30pm (including bank holidays) and Sunday 10am-3.30pm.
This is a permanent position, and would not suit summer work.
Skills and Experience Required
Food Hygiene certification essential, attention to detail in food presentation, ability to work under pressure and cook to order.

Part time, permanent. 2 days a week, alternate weekend working
