The pitchers initially emerge in shades of pink and pale green, eventually maturing to a deep wine red
In spring striking dark red flowers appear
Sarracenia like full sun so are best placed on a windowsill in a conservatory
They can survive with temperatures from -10ºC to 40ºC and also likes humid conditions
You can't overwater Sarracenia, in principle, so we advise you to keep them in a dish of water (tap water is fine) and keep it continuously topped up
Sarracencia do not require fertiliser
