Chinese Money Plant or Pancake Plant

Popular indoor plant due to its attractive coin-shaped foliage and ease of care

It requires bright, indirect light.  Avoid direct sunlight as it will burn the delicate foliage and rotate the plant regularly to keep it symmetrical

It will adapt to lower light levels but it will become leggy with fewer offshoots and the coin-shaped leaves may become smaller

Allow the plant to nearly dry out between waterings and then water well.  The leaves will begin to droop when it dries out which is a good indication that it needs watering,

The average household temperature and humidity are fine for this plant, but it is best kept away from heating vents and draughts

Feed monthly during the growing season

This plant is fast growing and can quickly fill its pot with roots and offshoots, so re-pot yearly in the spring or summer.

When offshoots are a few inches tall they can be cut from the main plant a couple of inches below the soil and re-potted
