Bloombux is an ideal replacement for a buxus.
It is a species of Rhododendron that looks like a buxus with similar attributes, but with additional advantages of a Rhododendron, including it's immunity to the box tree moth.
This dwarf shrub does not require acidic soil but could use some fertilizer.
Bloombux is an evergreen shrub with beautiful pink flowers in June that attract beneficial insects to the garden such as bumblebees and butterflies.
Pruning of Bloombux is an easy task due to its limited growth height, so it is easy to keep the ball shape
